Along with its executive team, Epicentro counts up to 40 event staff professionals in it’s roster. Epicentro also employs an extended network of professionals at various locations throughout the U.S.

M aria F. Hernandez Schabbing, President
Maria founded Epicentro AMS in 1987 has over 30 years in advertising and marketing. Former Advertising Director for Lu-Gem, the in-house ad agency for Lucky Stores, Northern California (responsible for public relations, all media buys, media events, retail promotional and special events for the Northern California included Gemco, Kragen, Sirloin Stockade and etc.). Specializes in ethnic marketing with emphasis on Hispanic and Asian, research, media buying, community relations, and promotional events.
Served on a variety of Boards including: The City of Hayward Advisory Board; The Executive Board of The National Hispanic University; The Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Board and presently serves on both Easter Seals Corporate Board and the Easter Seals' Northern California Alliance Board, City of Hope Food & Drug Industries Circle Board; National Hispanic Foundation Board; Latino College Prepetory Academy; Police Activities League and was a member of the California State University Advisory Committee. Voted one of the most influential Latina in the Silicon Valley.

W hitey Adamson, Vice President Director of Operations
43 years of retail marketing and buying experience; 11 years at Food Giant market, Southern California, 27 years at Lucky Stores, (VP General Manager Marketing & Merchandising). Was responsible for a $160 million annual department budget. Specializes in promotion and store layouts.
Whitey was responsible for 247 Northern Lucky Store chain, and over saw the consolidation of 239 mid-west Eagle Stores and 249 Kash N’ Karry Stores, Florida Division.

G ordon Thomas, Vice President Creative Director
Over 27 years of experience in design and development of consumer product packaging, sales support materials and marketing program development. Project management assignments include projects for McDonalds, Panasonic, Harley-Davidson, Safeway, Lucky Foods, Target and K-Mart.
Marketing experience includes new product development, forecast and budget responsibilities, strategic planning, integrated marketing communications planning and implementation. Product category experience includes skin care, hair care, oral care, specialty food, vitamin/supplements and depilatories, and grocery.
