Hispanic Cultural Calendar
Epicentro Advertising & Marketing Services produces the Hispanic Cultural Calendar. The Calendar is of original design featuring a themed cover, separate themes for each month and specially commissioned original works of art throughout. The Calendar is distributed to over 120 school districts, various community centers and religious institutions throughout Northern California. It is used by many as a supplemental resource in educational programs. In California, it is also distributed to high density Hispanic Safeway and provided freely to its patrons.
The acclaimed, gorgeous calendar serves as a reference for the ubiquitous Shabbat and Yom Tov candle lighting times of various notable cities. Bridging the antiquities, the calendar provides the Gregorian and Hebrew dates. Each month features recipes by Marlene Sorosky Gray, the culinary advisor for Safeway. Each recipe is created and tested for this calendar, and marked for parve or for seasonal appropriateness. In addition, the recipes are endorsed by Ben-Tzion Welton, co-founder of Northern California Kosher. This calendar is reviewed and approved by reputable head Rabbi(s).
Epicentro collates and updates all contacts for distribution. The Safeway Jewish Heritage Calendars are distributed nationally to all high density Jewish area Safeway Stores (and its other divisions: Vons, etc.), synagogues, congregations, community centers, schools and individual requests. Distribution Up To 250,000 Annually.

Mexican Independence Church
In two hours this church façade towers 16’ over the stage. Sturdy enough for 4 people to stand on, this elegant church can be seen throughout the whole event. The church commemorates the church of the city of Dolores, Mexico, in which Miguel Hidalgo rang the bell and declared an appeal to the citizens of Dolores that sounded the revolt against the Spaniards.
This pivotal scene is reenacted annually at the appointed time and the current Mexican Consulate rings the People’s Bell, hung within the church tower, for the Mexican citizens of Silicon Valley.
